Do you buy license plates as well as sell them?

Absolutely. I am not only a license plate seller, I'm also a serious collector with over 50 years of experience. I actively buy small / medium / large accumulations and collections of license plates and related items.

Are your plates guaranteed?

Absolutely! Everything I sell is fully guaranteed. If for any reason you’re not happy with your purchase (including damage in transit), simply return the license plate to me within 30 days and I’ll give you a full refund. I’m not happy unless you are. I make every effort possible to accurately describe the license plates on my website.

What forms of payment do you accept?

You can pay with any major credit card or Paypal balance by using the shopping cart. I also accept payment by personal check or money order. Please follow these instructions. Please make sure all payments include a description of your purchase so as not to delay your shipment.

How can I enquire about or reserve particular plates?

The most effective way is to e-mail me the 5 digit inventory control number that briefly appears when you hover the cursor over the listing image. This way, I can quickly and directly retrieve the plate listings. Sending me the number on the license plate e.g. ABC-123 is more challenging since these numbers are not entered in the database.

How well do you package your plates?

All my plates will arrive very well packed. I use custom made shipping boxes for 6 x 12 plates, which can be reused at your end! Satisfaction guaranteed.

What shipping services do you use?

I ship everything via USPS.

I live overseas. How does this affect the cost of shipping?

The online shopping cart calculates shipping for the USA only; I will calculate international shipping charges. International shipping can be quite expensive; I will let you know upfront the shipping costs with no obligation on your part. Please email me for an exact quote.

Will I receive the actual license plate in the picture or do you substitute plates?

The plate you see on the website is the exact plate you will receive. I never substitute plates unless the customer requests a different plate.

What if I want more than one copy of the same plate?

Each plate is unique. Although the shopping cart will allow the entry of quantities greater then 1, multiple copies of the same plate are not available (except for certain booster plates). Please do not enter quantities greater than 1.

Do you offer discounts?

Yes I do! Purchasers of over $100 (not including shipping) on easyPL8S.com will receive a coupon good for a 10% discount on their next purchase.

Entering a valid coupon number (e.g. ABC-123) in the appropriate place on the home page will automatically adjust the prices of all the license plates on the website. The coupon number must be entered for the discount to be applied. These discounts will be reflected in your online shopping cart.

Do you have more plates than are listed on your site?

I have thousands of plates available. If you have a special request, please email me at dave@easyPL8S.com with your requirements.

I’ve been burned before with plates that look better in the pictures than in reality.

I strive to post images that accurately reflect the quality of my plates. Since the image sizes are relatively small, the plates often look better in person than in the pictures. For example, newer plates generally have very nice color and gloss which is often not accurately reflected in the image. Any defects that are not apparent in the images are clearly noted.

Flat plates and plates with reflective sheeting often appear to have uneven color in pictures; this is flare from the sun and doesn't appear on the plate.

I often see plates with incorrect stickers attached. Do your plates have the proper stickers?

Yes. Unless the plate is unissued or was originally used without stickers, all license plates are affixed with the correct, original stickers.

Do you sell reproductions of real license plates?

No. EasyPL8S.com offers a large selection of genuine license plates. All of my plates are the real McCoy: no repros! In some cases, I have listed booster, movie prop, or souvenir type license plates if I think they might be of interest to collectors of genuine license plates. These plates are clearly labeled as such in all cases.

Are any of your license plates repainted or touched-up?

No, except as noted in exceptional instances. I strive to maintain high standards in all facets of my business, including plate quality. In rare instances, where scarcer plates are involved, a particular plate may be repainted or touched up. However, this will be always clearly stated in the description.

Can I register your plates for use on my car?

Not unless the plates are approved for use under your state’s Year of Manufacture program. Otherwise, my plates are for use as souvenirs, decorating, or collecting.
